A Must See!
In this match, Simona Gioli was very impressive together with Serena Ortolani and Paola Cardullo. Gioli’s back slide attacks were almost unstoppable and Team USA had a hard time defending her. Lo Bianco used Gioli during crucial parts of the match. Meanwhile, Ortolani was very efficient with her attacks and fulfilled his role as the team’s transitional attacker. Finally, Cardullo showed why she is the world’s best libero (in our opinion). Of course, congrats to Team Italy for a great match!
As always, Logan Tom displayed her all around game in this match. USA played well but Italy’s serves gave them problems.
