Get Well Soon Micah Christenson!!!

He’d come back stronger for sure!

The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist had knee surgery a couple of days ago due to a partial tear in his meniscus. If his recovery goes well, he could potentially rejoin his club team, Modena, during the Italian league playoffs this coming March/ April.

Last Monday, he shared a thank you post on his IG assuring his supporters that he’d be back.

“Thank you everyone for the prayers and kind words! It means a lot to feel all the love and support from around the world ❤️ the surgery went well and you can bet I’ll be working my butt off to get back on the court even better and stronger than before.”

In case you didn’t know, Micah still played last weekend at the Coppa Italia despite being injured already. Sadly, Micah and Modena lost in straight sets against eventual Coppa Italia Champions Perugia who is the club team of Wilfredo Leon, Filippo Lanza and Atanasijevic.

After his surgery on Monday, some of Micah’s teammates like Ivan Zaytsev, Tine Urnaut and Kawika Shoji sent him well wishes on Instagram.

Get well soon Micah!!!
