What a very memorable victory for Sada Cruzeiro!
Last April 21st, Sada Cruzeiro defeated Ricardo, Lorena and Team Volei Futuro in 4 sets to take home the Superliga Crown (24-26, 25-18, 25-13, 25-19).
“Superliga is growing each year. It was created passion. Volleyball is a sport of the family in Brazil.” says Brazilian Volleyball Federation president Dr Ary Graça said.
Sada’s top hitter Mauricio Silva who scored in 20 pts in the Final match says “Today I am a more experienced player. Sada Cruzeiro gave the opportunity of helping the team to win the title. Now I know that I have to get better each year because we have the best national championship in the world.”
“We know our qualities and our effort each day and this year we were crowned.In sport on a day we win and on another we lose. We lost in the final last year but we won this season. The life of an athlete is like this. We have to learn more with the defeat than with the victory.” according to William Arjona, the Best Setter of the tournament.
