Canada’s Gavin Schmitt Excited For Rio

When we saw Gavin crying (0:35), we got teary eyed too.

You just need to watch the video below and be inspired by Gavin’s story.

Watch This:

Gavin Schmitt wasn’t sure he wanted to play volleyball, but his mother convinced him to give it a try. Now, Schmitt has helped Team Canada qualify for the Olympics for the first time in 24 years, and wearing the maple leaf on his chest is not something he will be taking lightly.

In case you didn’t know, the last time Canada qualified for the Olympics was 24 years ago. Gavin has played a major role in Canada’s success over the last few years together with one of our favorite coaches, Glen Hoag, and one of our crushes favorite players, Gord Perrin.

Last home game for the summer, come on out and cheer the fellas on!! 6:05pm at Sasktel place
