She is not officially on the FINAL OLYMPIC roster but this is great news for Italian fans.
The 36 year old legendary setter, who is the most experienced Italian player at present, has been invited to join the national team as Italy continues to prepare for the Olympics in August.
If Lo Bianco makes it to Rio, it will be her 5th consecutive Olympic appearance.
The last time she played in a major competition with Italy was at the 2014 FIVB World Champs.
