Red Card for Serbian Coach

We thought the ref was too obvious he was on China’s side too harsh…

Honestly, we don’t remember the last time a ref card was issued at the Grand Prix. But during the first round of the annual tournament which kicked off over the weekend, First Referee Sang Chun Jun didn’t have any second thoughts and handed a red card to Serbia’s Zoran Terzic after the coach reacted to a couple of questionable calls.

Watch this…

After getting one, Coach Zoran had to keep quiet and enjoyed watching his team demolished China in sets 3 and 4 to win the match and finished second in their group.

Thoughts?

Side Dish: A red card is a severe penalty in which an official displays a red card. The result of a red card may be a player is disqualified, the team loses the serve, or the team loses a point. A red card may be given with or without a prior yellow card as a warning; it is up to the official’s discretion.
