American opposite player, Annie Drews, and her Italian club team have mutually agreed to terminate her contract.. According to a source, Sab Volley Legnano is facing financial problems and has not paid their players.
As of press time, SV Legnano is ranked 9th out of 12 teams in the prestigious Italian League.
In case you didn’t know, the left handed Drews made her debut with Team USA this season. She competed at the 2017 Pan American Cup (Gold), 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix Finals Round and at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup.
