Earvin Ngapeth Caught Driving Under The Influence

It’s another headline for the famous French volleyball player.

According to gazzetta.it, Earvin Ngapeth was caught driving under the influence last week after a night out with some volleyball friends in Modena where he is currently playing professionally. His alcohol level was 1.98 which is almost four times the legal limit.

Police confiscated his driver’s license and towed his car which was provided to him by his team.

His club team, Modena, has declined to comment about Earvin’s latest trouble but rumor has it they will fine him plus the other 5 teammates he was with that night.

In case you didn’t know, Ngapeth has had several legal escapades in the past. Three years ago, he got into a fight at a nightclub in France. He was later suspended for 3 months by the Criminal Court of Montpellier. Last July 2015, he was arrested by police and went to court after assaulting a TGV train controller at the Paris-Montparnasse train station.

Next year in March, he will go to court again in regards to a hit and run incident that happened 2 years ago in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Two people suffered minor injuries while another person had was in the ICU due to the injuries he sustained. He eventually apologized after running away from the scene.
