Transfer News: Iran’s Milad Ebadipour Joins Skra

Milad Ebadipour Makes History!

The outside hitter becomes the FIRST Iranian player to play in the Polish League. Milad has signed on to play with Skra Belchatow for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. Aside from competing in the Plusliga, Milad and Skra will also be in the prestigious Champions League.

The 23 year old has played in Iran since he started his professional career in 2011. He played for Kalleh Mazandaran VC (2011-2014), Szahrdari Urmia (2014-2016), Sarmayeh Bank (2016-2017) and
Al Rayyan S.C. (2017).

With the national team, he has won the Asian Championship 3 times. He has also played an important role with Iran’s success within the last couple of years which includes making it to the 2016 Olympics.

Milan recently competed with Iran at the 2018 FIVB World Championship Qualification Tourney. Iran, together with China, has qualified and will represent Asia in next year’s tourney together with Australia and Japan.
