Serbia’s best outside hitter and 2016 FIVB World League MVP, Marko Ivovic, is going the miss the 2017 European Championship. The reason? He injured his ankle last week during a friendly match.
This is such a huge blow for Serbia which left Coach Nikola Grbic no choice but to convert one of his liberos, Goran Škundrić, as one of the 4 outside hitters.
