Congrats to the Original Iron Hammer (Lang Ping) and the New Iron Hammer (Zhu Ting)!
Last week, 2016 Olympic Champions China, Coach Lang Ping and Zhu Ting were honored as the Best Team, Best Coach and Best Female Athlete at the Central Television (CCTV) Sports Awards held in Beijing.
“It was a little torturous at the Olympics. I hope my players won’t torture me anymore.” -Lang Ping
“The year 2016 was full of happiness and it was unforgettable for me. I want to say thanks to our coach, our team and our fans. I will be better in 2017.” -Zhu Ting
Zhu was not able to attend the ceremony to club commitments in Turkey but she of course took time to share a thank you post on her IG.
