Matlak Keeps his JOB!

Sorry Miss Kasia Skowronska! It appears the coach who kicked you out of the 2010 World Champs is KEEPING HIS JOB. The Polish Federation has decided not to fire JERZY MATLAK and will continue coaching their women’s team next year and maybe until the 2012 Olympic Qualification.

With Matlak as the coach, we will NOT see Skowronska back on the Polish team.

Kasia vowed to the media that she will ONLY return to Poland if Matlak leaves the team. She said that Matlak developed a very poor training schedule for the Polish team that’s why SHE they played horrible during the 2010 Grand Prix. Prior to the World Champs, Kasia was dropped by Matlak due to an internal conflict. Rumor says Kasia and PLAYBOY cover girl Anna Baranska-Werblinska DID NOT GET ALONG. Since Anna performed much better during the Grand Prix and Kasia played bad, Matlak decided to take Anna over Kasia. Kasia didn’t know she got kicked out of the team until she went online and the news put her to tears. It was very embarrassing for Kasia!

Sadly, Poland finished 9th at World Champs. Kasia sent flowers to Anna and Matlak with a note saying “Great Horrible Job!”. Kidding Kidding! Kasia didn’t do this!

After Japan, Matlak clearly stated that he wanted Kasia to be on the team but she was getting difficult to coach. She could not bury her personal issues for the good of the team so she got dropped according to Matlak.

Kasia a DIVA? Really?

We hope Kasia will mend fences with Baranska-Werblinska and Matlak so she can rejoin the Polish team. We love Kaczor but she doesn’t seem like an effective opposite hitter for Polska. Kasia can do better!

Make Peace Please! No more FIGHTING!

Side Dish: We hope Glinka will stay and play for Poland until 2012 to help Poland qualify for the Olympics. Maggie has been playing well since she rejoined the team this year after a 2 yr break.
