If you keep telling yourself that you’re too old to play volleyball, then THINK AGAIN!
40 year old Jason Haldane has inked a deal with Bulgarian club team CSKA Sofia. The 203 cm opposite hitter is one of the most experienced volleyball players in the world.
He played for Team Canada from 1992-2004 in more than 300 matches before becoming a British citizen. Like any athlete in the world, he dreamed to play in the Olympics and almost gave up until he got acquainted with Harry Brokking who has taken on the task of coaching Great Britain’s national team. Since his dad is of English origin, getting a passport was not difficult for Jason. He moved to GBR and the rest is history.
In less than 1 year, Jason will finally achieve his Olympic dream.
Daddy Jason made his professional debut in 1995. Since then he has played in different club teams in different countries like Acqua Paradiso Monza (ITA), Yoga Forli (ITA), Lokomotiv Izumrud-Ekaterinburg (RUS), Tours VB (FRA), AC Cannes (FRA), Olympiakos (GRE), Magna Grecia Volley [Taranto] (ITA), Paris Volley (FRA), AC Cannes (FRA), Montpellier UC (FRA), Zonhoven (BEL).

With such experience, no doubt he can make wonders for his new club team.
