2015 Beach VB World Champs In Holland!

Just be looking at this video, we SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WANNA GO to Holland next year for the Beach VB World Champs!

Per FIVB:

The 2015 Beach Volleyball World Championships in the Netherlands is guaranteed to be a ‘unique experience’, say the Dutch Volleyball Federation, the organisers of the event.

The President of Nevobo, Hans Nieukerke said the Netherlands is famous for innovative ideas and the championship will be no different.

“A Beach Volleyball World Championship in the Netherlands with 451 kilometres of coastline provides enough room for such a worldwide event. Our country is actually famous for its original, innovative ideas, and that goes for Nevobo too. We have developed innovative volleyball concepts over the past years, but we also think ‘out of the box’ when it comes to event organisation.

“The 2015 Beach Volleyball World Championships is guaranteed to be a unique experience, not least because the event will take place in several locations in the Netherlands. Playing in four major cities in the Netherlands is the foundation for a successful event with full stadiums. It will make it possible for larger groups of fans to witness the world championships. The event will not only get a great deal of attention in the national media, including television, but the regional media will provide exposure in their own regions, as well. The media attention will undoubtedly contribute to filling the stadiums for all of the matches,” he said.

Well known for fielding strong teams in international competition for several years the Netherlands returns to the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour calendar in 2014 as host of the double-gender FIVB The Hague Grand Slam. The Hague event, to be held July 15 to 20, will be just the fifth FIVB World Tour competition held in the Netherlands with the other four double-gender events being held in The Hague in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013. The Hague was also the venue for the U19 World Championships in 2008.

At least in the men’s tournament, the Dutch home crowd will be hoping for a repeat performance of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship in Stare Jablonki in 2013 when thirteenth seeds Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen beat Brazil’s 10th seeds Ricardo Santos and Alvaro Filho 2-0 (21-18, 21-16) for the World Championship title.
