She has landed!!!
The two time Olympic champion has arrived in Japan where Brazil is training for the upcoming VNL Finals in China. The Final 6 kicks off on June 27th.
She was not supposed to play in the Finals but Brazil needed another outside hitter due to the injury of Drussyla (hand fracture). Jaque was initially listed as a libero by Coach ZRG but would not play as an outside hitter.
Brazil finished 3rd after the preliminary round and is in the same pool with hosts China and The Netherlands. The other pool has USA, Serbia and Turkey. The top 2 teams from each pool will play in the Final 4.
