The injury happened in yesterday’s match versus USA which Italy won.
This is just really sad. He is now the 3rd volleyball player in Rio who got injured. The other two are Egypt’s Ahmed El Kotb & Dutch player Maret Grothues.
As of press time, no update yet if Bira can still play in their next matches. Let’s hope for the best and wish him a speedy recovery.
