Russian volleyball player, Nataliya Goncharova, is a guest blogger on Life.ru where she writes about her Olympic experience in Rio.
The opposite hitter has shared a few fun and interesting posts like the Olympic Village is nice, there’s wifi, she liked the bed in her room, there’s tons of food but she prefers the fruits and veggies, half of the team were tested for doping at 6am a few days ago AND team practice went well just to name a few.
What surprises us the most though is her heartfelt revelation that she and her teammates are getting COLD TREATMENT from other athletes.
In her most recent post, she writes:
“I can not say that athletes from other countries are friendly to us. It is evident that they would be happy if we did not come here.”
Well, that’s very sad to hear.
We hope the treatment will encourage Goncha and team to focus more on their journey in Rio and win a medal.
