What we know so far about his injury…
#1) It’s NOT a serious injury at all.
#2) Recovery might take a few days. It’s not for sure yet if Ivan will be healthy enough to play in the Secound Round which starts September 10th.
#3) Ivan is in good spirits and remains optimistic despite the setback.

In case you didn’t know, Italy barely qualified for the Secound Round after some disappointing performance in Round 1 vs USA, Iran and Puerto Rico. Zaytsev and Team enter the next round with only 2 points.
The 2014 World League Bronze medalists will face Poland, Argentina, Serbia and Australia.
