Brazil’s rising star and 2011 World Grand Prix Best Receiver, Fernanda Garay, might be possibly out of the ongoing World Cup tournament after colliding with Germany’s Furst during the second set. It appears that Garay twisted her ankle. It doesn’t look that bad – we think – but we can safely guess that she’d need days to recover.

We really hope it’s nothing serious.

In case you didn’t know, Serbia’s Malagurski and Italy’s Serena Ortolani are also injured and we’re only in Day 3 of the competition.
