She is still playing!!!
At 36 years old, 4 time Olympian and two timw Olympic silver medalist Logan Maile Lei Tom is still playing volleyball. This post by USA Volleyball confirms that the outside hitter is spreading her wings and teaching young Kiwis how to play the game with exceptional skills and dedication.
Logan is playing for Harbour Raiders Volleyball Club and they just won the 2017 Club Volleyball Championship.
We watched the video and she is still the same Logan as far as body movements on the court. She may not be as strong as her early years BUT Logan still projects the same look on her face – THE SERIOUS GAME FACE!
We also notice that Logan is not wearing #15 (she now wears #11) and does not jump serve anymore.
In case you didn’t know, Logan may be THE only volleyball player in the world who have played in so many countries. She has played in Brazil, Italy, Russia, China, Indonesia, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, Japan, France and now New Zealand.
Times may have changed but it’s great to see L O G A N T O M still in action on the volleyball court.
