Men’s Pan-Am Dates Changed

Different dates folks!

The 2011 VI Pan-American Men’s Volleyball Cup has been rescheduled for June 13th-18th (It was originally scheduled from June 7th -12th) at the Robert-Guertin Arena in Gatineau, Quebec to coincide with other major volleyball events, ie Volleyball Canada’s Annual General Assembly, also set for Gatineau, as well as a potential CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) and CCAA (Canadian College Athletic Association) Athlete Development Summit.

The Canadian Federation might also want to invite Volleywood since we’d be celebrating our 2nd Year Anniversary! Why not right? Party! Party! Party!

Brazil, Cuba and the USA are expected to be the major contenders to win the crown. The Pan-Am Cup is serves as the first step for teams to qualify and eventually book a spot  in the 2012 FIVB World League.

As for Canadian Fans, the players will start practicing this spring when they return from overseas.

Anyways, it’d be a great week in the city of Gatineau.  If you’re in Canada, you can’t miss these events! Support and enjoy!
