Sadly, his season in Turkey is OVER.
The 2011 European Champion from Serbia suffered a season ending injury a couple of days ago during a match in the Turkish League. The 31 year old outside hitter tore his ACL in his left knee and will now have surgery back home in Belgrade.
The #2 ranked Ziraat Bankasi is now looking for other options to prepare for their next matches.
Recovery can be from 6 months or longer.
