This Turkish team is THE most inspiring team to watch in the Final Round of the Volleyball Nations League.
After a heartbreaking 5 set loss against Team USA last Wednesday, Eda Erdem and team bounced back with an amazing win against Serbia in another 5 set match. Turkey was led by Hande Baladin with 20 points while Serbia heavily relied on Boskovic who scored 31 points.
Turkey’s victory complicates their pool with USA and Serbia. As of press time, we don’t know yet who will join China and Brazil in the Semifinal round. For Turkey to SAFELY make it to the next round, Serbia and USA must beat each other tonight in 3 to 4 sets. If USA beats Serbia in 5 sets, then Boskovic and team are going home. If it’s the other way around, then Serbia, USA and Turkey will have the same record so it all goes down to point ratios.
Therefore, the USA vs Serbia match tonight is a MUST win for both teams.

In case you didn’t know, The Netherlands has been eliminated after losing their second match to Brazil.
