Dmitriy Muserskiy Can Cook? Yes! He Can Cook!

We are impressed.

We bet his kitchen has a very high ceiling for him to fit. Hah!

According to this article released by cev.lu, the Russian Tower spends most of his free time cooking in the kitchen.

WOW!

There’s more!

The 2.18 meter skyscraper also reveals how he truly feels on winning the Olympic Gold after beating Brazil in an epic 5 set match. In case you forgot or didn’t know, Russia was down 0:2 until Coach Alekno switched Muserskiy from being a middle blocker to an opposite hitter while Mikhaylov moved to the outside hitting position. The magic idea worked!

“I do not think this was the best match of my career. I can play better and score more points in five sets, but I have grown in confidence and that is why I played so well. The team trusted me. We were 0:2 down, it was last chance, the team trusted me and the gamble paid off.

I could not let the team go down without a fight. Fifteen years, I have been waiting for this moment for 15 years.”

With an epic performance, he deserved to WIN that gold.

By the way, the 25 year old started playing volleyball at the age of 8 in Makeyevka, Ukraine before playing for a school team in Kharkiv and ultimately signing a contract in Belgorod in 2005.

Since winning the 2012 Olympics, Muserskiy led Russia to win the 2013 European Championship, 2013 World League and a silver medal at the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup. Professionally, he and his Russian club team, Belgorod, have won the 2013/2014 CEV Champions League and most recently the 2014 Club World Champs.

With all these achievements, no wonder former Russian Coach Alekno stated that “Muserskiy scares all his opponents.”

We Agree!
