The Polish outside hitter is NOT a happy camper after he and his teammates flew in Premium Class on their way to Brazil for the World League Final 6 next weekend.
He tells przegladsportowy.pl:
“The agreement was that we travel in Business Class but it was changed last minute and they switched us to Premium.
I do not want to be a player who complains but business class should be used for long journeys. It is all about our health. Twelve hours in one position is not comfortable for anyone, especially for athletes who go out to play and win the game.”
Sadly, the Polish Federation’s response is that the airline ran out of seats in Business Class.
To our surprise none of his taller teammates complained.
