As previously reported, Germany’s Maggie Kozuch has quit her indoor career and start a new adventure as a beach player with Karla Borger.
The indoor beach volleyball tournament took place earlier today in Busto Arsizio and hosted by Unet Energia Italiana.
KOZUCH’S INDOOR CAREER: With the German team, the 30 year old opposite spiker won 2 #EuroVolley silver medals (2011 & 2013) and a bronze at the 2009 Grand Prix. She was the Best Scorer at the 2009 European Champs and Best Spiker at the 2011 edition.
IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW: Former Dutch star player, Manon Flier, has also resurrected her volleyball career and will be playing beach volleyball in 2017. The switch may hopefully help Flier & Kozuch to achieve their dream to play in the Olympics.
We almost forgot mention that 2016 Olympians Alex Ranghieri and Adrian Carambula also competed.
