London 2012 Schedule is Out!

Excited? Well we are! Fun! Fun! Fun!

The Olympic gods and goddesses have finally released the competition schedule for the 2012 Olympics in London (including the ticket prices). The London 2012 Olympic Games are set to take place from July 27th-August 12th, 2011.

Tickets go on sale starting March 15th!

TAKE NOTE: The only country who has qualified so far for indoor volleyball is Great Britain (host). The Olympic Qualification will star this November as Japan hosts the 2011 World Cup wherein the top 3 finishers will advance to the Olympics. The W-Cup will be followed by the Continental and Olympic Qualification Tournaments. Beach VB has already started the Olympic qualification this year. Teams to be determined.

Anyways…

Indoor Volleyball will start on July 28th, 2012 and the Gold Medal Match will be on August 12th, 2011. If you want to watch matches during pool play, it will cost you between €20-€65 ($27-$87) for 2 preliminary matches. Not bad right? We thought it’d cost more.

As expected, the tickets for the quarterfinal rounds go up to €30-€95 ($40-$128).

The semifinal matches: €40-€115 ($54-$155)

Finally, the medal rounds: €40-€185 ($54-$249)

Beach volleyball will take on the historical setting of Horse Guards Parade from the July 28-August 9. The preliminary rounds will have a minimum of 16 matches a day before the knockout stages.

If you plan on watching the GOLD MEDAL match, then you’d need to save more, more and more because the best seat would cost you €450 ($607).

We are really excited to go to London and enjoy the Olympics! We’ve started saving money to make this dream of ours come true.
