We knew this would happen eventually but we didn’t expect it too soon.
The Polish Federation has confirmed that they have terminated Jerzy Matlak as the coach of their women’s team.
Shocking! Shocking! Shocking!
According to our source, the decision is a complete surprise to Matlak and immediately went on a sick leave. We’re not exactly sure about the reasons why he got axed from his position but as far as we know it has something to do with “knowing when your players are injured and when your players seek for maternity leave”.
The Polish Federation, who reportedly fired Matlak via text, plans on releasing the details of their decision in the coming days.
First of all, Matlak has health problems and we hope he’s okay. We hope nothing serious happened nor will happen to him. As of press time, he’s still in shocked with his dismissal since the Federation has not provided any info. Nexy, does this mean Kasia Skowronska will be making her comeback anytime soon?
All we can say is that we respect the decision of the Federation and we wish Mr. Matlak the best.
