Foluke Akinradewo aka the Best Blocker and the MVP of the 2010 World Grand Prix has signed a contract with Russian club team Dinamo Krasnodar for the 2011/2012 season.

Foluke’s teammate, Cynthia Barboza, played for Krasnodar this past season and we bet Foluke asked C-Barb for some words of advice about Krasnodar which convinced Foluke to close the deal.

Last season, Krasnodar finished second at the CEV Cup and ended the Russian League with a bronze medal.
In case you didn’t know, Foluke made her professional debut in Japan last year with Toyota Autobody Queenseis & finished the season as the Best Spiker of the V-League.
Side Dish: The V-League was cut short due to the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis which hit Japan. Playoffs were canceled.
