Ashley Engle has joined her former college teammate, Destinee Hooker, to play for Scavolini Pesaro in Italy. Ash has quit her setting position in Azerbaijan to experience one of the world’s most prestigious leagues.
We’ve been told she was playing really for AZ BAKI in the Azerbaijan League and we’re really happy for her! Playing in Italy is a dream come true for a lot of players! Her AZE fans will miss her for sure.
She will be playing as the second setter of the team. Ferretti (ITA) is the starting setter and has been playing really well!
