A Different Wang Yimei

Looking good girlfriend!

2008 Olympic Bronze medalist and one of Asia’s scoring machines, Wang Yimei, has reportedly lost 12 kilos or 26.4554715 pounds for the 2011 season.

Reports say that China’s current coach is planning on transforming Wang from an opposite hitter/ non-receiving outside hitter to a more complete player – which includes passing balls.

Sounds like a great plan!

Since Yang Hao retired from the team, Wang has been China’s most effective spiker and scorer to go along with her powerful and effective jump serves.

If losing weight will help  improve her all around game, then we support it!

She’s only 23 & she is already a very talented player.  Wang has a very strong right arm and her presence on the Chinese team has helped them win a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics and a gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games.

Do whatever it takes Wang! We’re here to support you all the way!

Thoughts?
