First Look at Lukasz Zygadlo!
After spending a few seasons with the world’s most successful club team, Trentino Volley, the Polish playmaker will make his debut in the Russian Super League with Team Fakel Novy Uriengoy for the 2012/2013 season.

Lukasz has played a significant role with all the achievements the Polish squad has achieved within the last 2 years, ie 2011 FIVB World Cup Silver Medal, 2012 FIVB World League Gold Medal & 2012 London Olympic 5th place.
No doubt he will lead his club team to new heights!
In case you didn’t know, Lukasz will play with 2012 Olympic gold medalist and libero Alexander Sokolov.

As a side note, the level in the Russian League continues to improve over the last couple of years with Zenit Kazan winning the prestigious Champions League last season. Also, most of the players from the Olympic gold medal team will play in their home league this season joined by other world class players like Leandro Vissotto (BRA), Matt Anderson (USA) and Gavin Schmitt (CAN) .
