Congratulations to Simon and to his girlfriend!
A few days ago, the couple welcomed their first child and named her CECILIA.
In case you didn’t know, Simon has left his Brazilian club team, Sada Cruzeiro, to play in Italy. He and former teammate Leal are signed on to play for Lube Volley together with another Cuban and he is none other than Osmany Juantorena.
Another Volleywood star is on the team for the coming season – Tsvetan Sokolov. The opposite hitter is missing in action at the ongoing World Championship since he is not fully recovered from an injury that required surgery. However, he is getting in the best shape and continues to document his progress.
Taylor Sander’s brother, Brendan, has also been announced to be part of the 2018-2019 season.
Lube Volley has already started their training session.
