Brazilian outside hitter and 2008 Olympic silver medalist Murilo Endres has donated his Brazilian Jersey to Herosi Foundation while he was in Katowice, Poland this past weekend for the World League. Herosi is now auctioning the jersey.

Proceeds from this auction will be utilized to purchase special medical equipment necessary to renovate the operating room of the oncology department of Instytut Matki i Dziecka (Mother and Child Institute) in Warsaw, Poland.

According to Murilo,
“I can still recall the previous actions organized by the Herosi Foundation that I participated in, like piggybanks painting for instance. For such players as Giba, Sergio, Dante, Visotto or myself, being aware of the fact that we help children and adolescent who suffer from cancer is an enormous pleasure and great satisfaction. That is why I would like to contribute to this noble cause once again, this time giving my t-shirt.”
