A “Charity Star” for Polska

Genuine Love for others really pay off!

The men’s national team of Poland aka the reigning European Champion has been awarded by Academy for the Development of Philanthropy with a “Charity Star”. Winiarski, Wlazly, Kurek, Zagumny and the rest of the Polish team were part of this prestigious poll heavily promoted by Newsweek Polska and they won!

Awesome! Acts of kindness are priceless.

The guys visit hospitals and hospices to give  children hope and even share their autographed shirts and balls and pose for pics. One of the highlights of the event was when Mariusz Wlazly donated to the Herosi foundation a replica of the “Charity Star” trophy with his autograph.

Wlazly said…

“This win means a lot to me but I know that the trophy is only a symbol. If it helps children, it is better to sell it via an auction than to leave it on a shelf in my room. The smile of these young guys, fighting with their diseases, is the biggest award. They are real heroes.”

We are really touched. Great job BBs & keep it up! Hope your great acts will be an inspiration to all.
