Cuba won the Gold, Russia took home the Silver and Brazil finished the tourney with a Bronze medal. Each team also booked a ticket to the 2000 Sydney Olympics with the same result.

After a few decades, the Cuban team is now using the 5-1 system and opted to use former setter YANELIS SANTOS as an opposite hitter. Oh Really?
