Natalya Mammadova Heads To Switzerland

She better not forger her “Scoring Machine” equipment!

One of the world’s best scorers from Azerbaijan, Natalya Mammadova, has left her Russian club team Omichka Omsk to play for Volero Zurich, Switzerland’s top club team.

Per SB-Community:

Swiss champions and Russian club Omichka Omsk made a transfer agreement of players.

After this agreement Natalya Mammadova will become a member of Volero, while Brankica Mihajlovic goes to Omichka Omsk. Both sides are satisfied with the agreement and hope that they will cooperate in the future too.

One of the best outside hitters of the world Natalya Mammadova signed five years contract with Volero Zurich. Despite valid contract with Omichka for one more year, after the agreement between the two clubs she moved to Zurich.

“I am very satisfied and happy because I feel like at home again. Volero is my favourite team and hope to justify the trust that I got with signing a five-year contract. I hope there will be no more transfers and that I will end here my career with numerous trophies” concluded Mammadova.

Opposite player Brankica Mihajlovic after great season in Brazil received an interesting offer from Omichka but she had one more year contract with Volero Zurich.

After consultation it was decided that these two great teams find a solution that fits all, so Natalya returned to Zurich and Brankica received the green light to move to Russia. “For me it’s a great opportunity to play in Russia. I had a great season in Brazil and now I will play in one of the strongest league in Europe. Omichka is a great organised club, with big ambitions, and hope that I will live up to expectations” said Mihajlovic.

We’d also like to add Brankica’s sweet message to her Unilever teammates she posted on her Facebook account yesterday:

Well, I know that the season is long finished, but I want to share with you my feelings. I want to thank everyone who has been part of my life in Unilever Rio de Janiero. It was a great experience for me and a pleasure to play for such a great team, and I’m glad it ended in the best possible way – as CHAMPIONS. I’ll miss you, and I wish you all the best in future, I hope you will continue to follow me in my new club. This year I will play for Russian team – Omichka.

Vou sentir saudades, e desejo-lhe as maiores felicidades no futuro, e eu espero que você continue a me seguir no meu novo clube. Este ano eu vou jogar para o time russo – Omichka. Espero que a ortografia está correta.
