In case she purposely did this gesture then it is NOT COOL.
Flipping the bird or pulling your middle finger “is an obscene hand gesture, often meaning the phrases “f*ck off” (“screw off”), “f*ck you” (“screw you”) or “up yours”. It is performed by showing the back of a closed fist that has only the middle finger extended upwards.

We believe this pic was from the gold medal match in 2010 at the World Championship which Russia won in an epic and dramatic 5 set match. Let’s face it, when it’s Gamova and Russia VERSUS Sheilla and Brazil then expect a very intense and very exciting showdown!
Let’s take a closer look.
There’s a lot of concentration going on during this very moment knowing it was the gold medal match. Do her approach, jump, how & where she’s going to hit the ball, look at the blockers and then pull a finger? That’s a lot of work! We’d be extremely disappointed if she did this on purpose. There’s no way an athlete as talented and as famous as Gamova to pull this kind of gesture. From what we see, it appears she did it well we don’t know! LoL!
