Skra has released another pic of their precious star player Facundo Conte!

Glad to see he’s recovering well after a shoulder surgery.

No doubt Skra fans are more excited than ever before!

Polish League starts in a couple of months.

Before arriving in Poland, our contributor Matias Rosa has this EXCLUSIVE post about Facu’s birthday celebration.

Argentine outside hitter celebrated his 24th birthday (August 25th) travelling to Poland.

Facundo Conte embarks on a new adventure nothing less than on his birthday. Surrounded by nice wishes and lots of love he initiated his journey to Poland where he will play for Skra Belchatow.

Conte family enjoyed Facundo’s birthday all together before the Argentine star travel to his new home.

His dad Hugo Conte, uploaded a nice picture saying:

“@FacuConte7 birthday just started. Happy birthday Facu!!!”.

Then he announced that his son was already travelling to Poland and wished him luck for next season.

The 24 year old player took time to tweet during a stop over from Bologna to Belchatow: “Thank you very much for your birthday wishes. It wonderful to feel your love, you fill me everyday.”

Teammate Rodrigo Quiroga took time his dear teammate on Twitter: “Good morning to everyone and happy birthday to my brother @FacuConte7 have a nice day with your family”.

Last but not the least, girlfriend Helena Havelkova tweeted this:

It looks like Skra is building a star studded team next season!

After a season in Russia, the star of Argentinian volleyball, Facundo Conte, is reportedly joining Polish club team, Skra Belchatow, in the 2013/2014 season. Conte replaces Michal Winiarski who will play in the Russian League.

“Although Facundo’s team, Dinamo Krasnodar, didn’t make it to the Finals of the Russian League, he still had a great season. Playing in the league has really helped him become a stronger and smarter players. With the physical training he went through, expect to see a more well rounded Conte this year.” says a source.

“Skra is a team with great reputation. The offer from Skra was something Facundo could not decline despite getting an offer to play in Turkey next season.” ends the source.

Volleyball fans in Poland will for sure have a great time and will love watching the 23 year old!

We now wonder if Conte’s girlfriend, Helena Havelkova, will also play in Poland.
