The announcement was officially made a couple of days ago.
The American setter and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist has signed on to play for Italian club team Modena in the next 2 seasons. Micah is not the only star on this team. He will be joined by one of the world’s best and famous players Ivan Zaytsev.
In case you didn’t know, Modena’s setter from last season, Bruno Rezende, will play for Micah’s old team – Volley Lube.
To make the long story short, Lube Volley and Modena pretty much just switched their setters. The former will have other stars like Osmany Juantorena, Yoandy Leal and Tsvetan Sokolov while the latter is still in the process of completing their dream for next season. Signing Micah and Ivan are already costing Modena a lot of money so let’s wait who else can they hire for the 2018/2019 season.
On the other hand, Micah is getting ready to welcome his first child this August with wifey Brooke.
