It looks like the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist has recovered from the shoulder surgery and is ready to play.
Brazilian news outlets confirm that American setter Carli Lloyd has signed on to play for Hinode Barueri in the Brazilian Superliga.
Carli is not the only Volleywood star on the team. Barueri already has Olympic Champions Jaqueline and Thaisa plus European champion Kasia Skowronska Dolata. The team is coached by none other than the great Ze Roberto Guimaraes.
As of press time, Barueri is ranked 6th out of 12 teams.
