Spiridonov Is Suspended!

Knowing he was such a jerk at the 2011 World League especially against Germany, he’s now paying the price.

Russian outside hitter, Alexey Spiridonov, has been suspended by the Russian Federation for 6 months after violating the federation’s code of conduct. According to our source, Alexey was punished due to be being caught drunk or for drinking while being with the team, alcohol consumption once or twice a week and full intoxication.

Consequently, he will not received any financial support from the Federation and has been deprived from receiving any $$$ Russia won at the World League.

Keywords: Learn the hard way.

We won’t bee sing this smile for 6 months. Thank G!

Knowing that Russia has other extremely talented outside hitters, we don’t think his absence will affect the team at the 2011 Euro Champs which starts next week. Honestly, we think it’s a blessing.

Side Dish: Zenit Kazan’s libero Alexey Obmochaev has also received a two-year conditional suspension.
