Model Beach Volleyball came back to Miami for its sixth year in a row for nothing but fun and sun on South Beach’s 8th & Ocean Volleyball set-up.
MODEL BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Extensively Talked about the 6th annual Model Beach Volleyball Tournament will take up on Saturday and Sunday, February 7 & 8, 2015 at Lummus Park in Miami Beach. This two-day event Will feature the top model agencies, as well as reviews Reviews some of the top professional volleyball players across the world, compete competing in a co-ed beach volleyball tournament. These top agencies include Next, CGM, Elite, Ford, MC2, Mega, Front Oceans, Runways and Wilhelmina. The battle will consist of a bracket-style competition where teams will compete against each other in a round robin format where day two is a single elimination tournament. All teams will compete for the title on Sunday for a complimentary round trip to an unknown destination.
In 2014 , it was a landmark year for the MBV team as it was our 5th Annual tournament, hosted once again on 7th and Ocean Drive. We had Wildfox as our title sponsor and finally attached a strong fashion brand to the event. The Irie Foundation, one of our partners since 2012 brought` Jamie Foxx as a special guest and he performed on stage for the second year in a row.
In 2013 , we hosted the tournament back on 8th and Ocean Drive. This location is synonymous with beach volleyball, and hosting the event at this rental ignited our attendance to over 10,000 single visitors over the course of the weekend. Supermodel, Sports Illustrated magazine cover girl Nina Agdal attended the event for the second straight year and hosted our Launch Party at Wall in the W Hotel.
In 2012 , the City Of Miami Beach was gracious enough to grant us the rental across the street from The Versace Mansion. Was this event the awakening and allowed us to-have adequate space. Grew our attendance to over 5,000 guests – with a great set up two runs. After two years of building we finally saw the impact Abebooks web strived for. We had two reality shows filmed DURING THE event, “The Real Housewives of Miami” on Bravo, and “The Catalina” on the CW. Michael Bay, James Marsden, and Johanna Krupa Were all in attendance!
In 2011 , the second annual MBVT Produced tournament live on 8th and Ocean Drive (Lummus Park). With over 12 participating model agencies in the event drew an outstanding Amount of spectators and key partners included Rockstar Energy Drink, Pop Chips, Vitamin Water & Majestic Properties. The tournament Lasted deep Into the evening and After much determination the victory Was Granted to Ocean Models.
In 2010 , MBVT Produced their first annual event at Nikki Beach on 1st and Collins with over 1000 spectators over the course of the weekend. Some of our key partners included Yokenow.com, Prestige Audi, Crunch Gym, The Wall at the W, Burger & Beer Joint, Presidente, Krome Tan, Shamwow Suio & Water. After a thrilling two-day tournament Wilhelmina Models Took first and Carolina Place Gleason Took second.
