She is going to retire after Rio and start a family. With that being said, playing in Rio means so much to the 32 year old who played as an outside hitter with the national team before becoming a libero under Coach Guidetti.
Other than her libero skills, Debby, who won the gold at the 2007 Grand Prix, is also a leader on this team together with Robin De Kruijf.

The Korean star is no doubt the BEST female player in the world loaded with extraordinary all around skills. The MVP of the 2012 Olympics is expected – as always – to lead her team in Rio the same task she successfully accomplished in London.
She is not just a scoring machine but also an exceptional leader.

China
She has improved tremendously since Coach Lang Ping took over the Chinese team and Zhu continues to build a name for herself as one of the world’s best players. She led China to win the 2015 FIVB World Cup and qualified for the 2016 Olympics.
Jordan Larson

USA
Team USA’s most precious and most valuable player. No wonder they call her “The Governor”.
Since the departure of Logan Tom from the team, Larson has taken over the leadership role together with Christa Dietzen and Courtney Thompson. She won the 2013 and 2014 CEV Champions League with 2 different teams plus the MVP award in the 2014 edition. Jordan won gold at the 2014 World Championship & Club World Champs plus an MVP Award.
With her success over the years, Olympic GOLD is the only left missing in her collection.
Thaisa Menezes
Middle Blocker

Two time Olympic Champion, Thaisa, has won several awards within the last few years to establish herself as one of the world’s best middle blockers. She was named the MVP during the 2013 Grand Prix, Best Blocker at the 2012, 2013 and 2016 FIVB Grand Prix and the Best Spiker at the FIVB Club World Championship just to name a few.
Outside volleyball, the engaged Thaisa is also one of the most followed volleyball players in various social media networks like Instagram where she has more than 183,000 followers.
Some fans even joke that when she puts her hair in a bun she means SERIOUS business. Kkkkkkk…
Milena Rasic
Middle Blocker
Serbia
She is no doubt Europe’s BEST middle blocker and one of the world’s best in her position. Rasic, who is playing in her 2nd consecutive Olympic appearance, has been a huge factor in Serbia’s success within the last 4 years. The 25 year old was instrumental in Serbia’s Olympic qualification during the 2015 FIVB World Cup where Rasic and Serbia won against tourney favorites USA, Russia and Japan.
Let’s not forget her “very efficient and very strong connection” with setter Maja.
