Knowing that Gamova has decided to rejoin the Russian Team for the World Champs. her longtime teammate and superstar veteran Lioubov Sokolova might also join the fun.
Coach Marichev tells rsport.ru:
“I know that Sokolova finished last season with an injury and that she is still not fully recovered. We have to wait. I haven’t called her yet but my assistant Konstantin Ushakov is keeping me updated as he is observing Sokolova’s workouts in Krasnodar.
I would like to work again with Lyubov and I hope she will be with us at the World Championship.”
We really hope Sokolova could play. She and Gamova make Russia even stronger with their skills and most of all experience.
Should Lyuba play? Yes or No?
In case you didn’t know, the last time Lyuba played for Russia was at the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup with Russia finishing 4th.
