USA captain Jennifer Tamas: “I think it is a good win for USA. Tonight every player in the team has a goal of playing as hard as we could. We wanted to get to the final. Our goal for this tournament is to get better as a team, and I think tonight we accomplished that. I think we looked better today, it is a good win.”

Serbia head coach Zoran Terzic: “USA played really well tonight. I am satisfied with the way we played. We played three times against the USA, and all three times we played well, but the quality of USA was better tonight and that was it. I have a lot of respect for the USA team, not only for the quality of the players but also their attitude and the coaches. It is a big thing for us to play against them at this level. I hope we can play another good game tomorrow against Russia for the third place.”

We faced different types of difficulties and problems throughout the World Grand Prix Finals, and I hope the experience of this tournament will help us improve. The Asian Championship is coming soon, and I wish we can make the necessary psychological adjustments to get ourselves prepared for the upcoming matches.”

Italy captain Eleonora Lo Bianco: “I am very happy for this victory. Today we won because we played better in all aspects of the game, especially in serving, defense and blocking. I am satisfied because we fought until the end of the match.”
