We must admit that after 2 matches, we are starting to miss the beautiful muse of Italy and that is none other than FRANCESCA PICCININI!
Girlfriend has been itching to play but for now she remains on the bench well actually she’s not on the active roster list so she sits on the VIP section of the Hamamatsu Stadium for now.
Sadly, Picci is INJURED!
Her injury is quite complicated but one thing we know for sure is that she has a STRAINED MUSCLE in her abdomen. We guess it’s something serious since Coach Barbolini is not letting her play and he hasn’t confirmed either when she’d be on the court.
She might not even play against Brazil. Sad. Tears. Italy needs her presence. Bosetti and Barcellini are not that impressive yet although Italy has won 2 matches already. Oh well…life goes on.
