She has retired from the National Team and now one of the world’s best players, Sheilla Castro, is taking a year off from volleyball.
The 2 time Olympic Champion wants to spend more time with her husband and family.
“My final decision is not to play this (2016/2017) season. I’ve made this decision a few years ago actually. I received offers from Brazil and from foreign clubs, but I rejected all of them. I want to take a year off so I can spend time with my family and my husband.” -Sheilla.
At 33, we have a feeling Sheilla now wants to focus on her personal and family life then start a family.
