Luciano De Cecco ends his 2012 with a BANG!
The 24 year old star setter has been chosen by Association of Sports Journalists in Argentina as the Best Volleyball Player of 2012. De Cecco led his team to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic with Argentina finishing 5th after failing to win a spot for the 2008 Olympics.
Luciano, who is playing for Copra Piacenza in Italy this season, has released this statement:
“I am delighted and honored to receive this award. Olimpia de Plata is one of the most important awards in Argentina, I am pleased to have reached this milestone, but also knowing that the road ahead is still long. In my home country, I pursued a course essential to my growth, I hope to bring it to Italy”
