Matt will stay with Zenit Kazan for another season.
The Russian club team has announced that the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and 2015 FIVB World Cup MVP, Matt Anderson, has renewed his contract and will wear the Zenit jersey for the 2017/2018 season.
Matt has been playing for the club since 2012. With Kazan, Matt has 2 Champions League titles (2014-2015, 2015-2016) and 3 consecutive Russian Super League Titles (2014, 2015, 2016).
The 29-year-old is also considered as one the world’s highest paid male volleyball athletes.
